USA Is BUYING Time For Its Iran Strategy

With Iran having just done a big military exercise Thursday, it is becoming much clearer that the options are getting fewer and fewer.
According to a Wall Street Journal Online news article: “The goal of American policy right now is to slow down the clock—that is, to stretch out the time Iran needs to become nuclear-arms capable. The hope is to buy time to give other kinds of pressure a better chance to work before military options move to the fore.”

Right now, the USA is looking at doing economic sanctions, with the help of the European Union, Japan, as well as the UN to put in place severe sanctions that would curb Iran’s ability to get financial help not only for its nuclear program, but also for squeezing its Revolutionary Guards, who are with the Mullahs, the real Iranian power and the driving force behind its nuclear program.

Also from the same WSJ Online article: “Already, informed sources say, the U.S. has essentially said to the recalcitrant Chinese: “Look, you’d better cooperate on sanctions, because if we don’t do something, Netanyahu is just crazy enough to attack Iran.” And if there’s a silver lining to the military exercises Iran just launched, it’s that they suggest Tehran is taking the military threat seriously.”

But I do have two important questions, what are the OPTIONS should this fall apart and Iran goes ahead with its nuclear program? What about helping those liberty-loving Iranians to be able to STAND UP to not only the Mullahs,Revolutionary Guards,but also President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as well?
