Chris Matthews: “Here’s Something To Drive Liberals And A Lot Of Reasonable People Insane…”

Wow, Chris Mathews, during one of his nightly MSNBC “Hardball” panel discussions and  who never lets an opportunity go to waste by not only “projecting” himself unto GOP Presidential  Mitt Romney, but also does what I call “the blind leading the blind” unto Mr. Romney himself. Do not worry Mr. Mathews, Mr. Romney is going to be in for some very interesting fights among those other candidates who are chasing for the same  GOP Presidential nomination along the way.

Overall, by how he, Mr. Romney goes about with his explanation, he sure sounds like he is desperate for the nomination.

Other than for that, the best way for a liberal to go really, really crazy is to be a person as well as a political candidate who does have true American principles and lives them as best as he or she can. No wonder folks like Sarah Palin is driving the old MSM just pur NUTS!

Summer Welcomed After Tough Winter

“After the rough winter we’ve had, with all of that snow, it should come as no surprise that it was blanket-to-blanket on the beach of Hammonasset State Park Monday, where they are cooling off, camping, and cooking out.”

REMEMBER This Day: UPDATE

Today is Memorial Day 2011. This is the day we remember those who had given their all for in service to the USA. Right now, the weather has it having thunderstorms, including lighting, thunder, and of course rain. When I think about this bad weather and the rain on this day, I think of all the tears that have been shed by those who have had given their very all, those whom they leave behind, and thankful Americans, including this one who is now blogging this article.

I often on this day THINK about my late father, Vincent E. Volowski who had served the USA during World War II in the United States Coast Guards. Even though he died on May 5, 1999, at the age of 76, after living a full life, having worked for many years at Pratt And Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford, then retiring to live up in Maine. Since his passing, and over the years, I view each and every Memorial Day as instead “Father’s Day” as well in his memory. This day for this reason is never easy as well. Also I remember him every time I go to the parade in East Hartford each Memorial Day.

Last night I had watched the yearly Memorial Day Concert in our nation’s capital. It was both very touching and yet there was the opportunity to dance to the music of B.B. King. I was most touched by the special memorial reflection given by the mother of Lcpl. Lawrence Philippon of the United States Marine Corps and from Connecticut with the tribute done by actress Dianne Wiest doing the reflection of his mother, Leesa Philippon on both his life and the service to his country which included his heroic sacrifice. Truly Lcpl. Philippon was, is, and will always be a GREAT AMERICAN PATRIOT and HERO.

Today, as we go to the parades, have the picnic gatherings, watch the baseball games, and WELCOME the summer season of 2011, let us NEVER FORGET, ALWAYS REMEMBER this day Memorial Day 2011  that HONORS this day those men and women who had GIVEN THEIR ALL for LOVE and DEVOTION to the United States of America. THANK-YOU service men and women who have given your precious lives for our freedom in the United States a reminder that FREEDOM IS NEVER FREE NOR CHEAP.

UPDATE:

Today, because of the heavy rain, thunder, and lighting, the yearly 2011 Memorial Day Parade in East Hartford was canceled.

Also I want to remember a Connecticut solder who died while in service for the USA, Sergeant Steven Joseph DeLuzio, a former Glastonbury, CT resident, killed in action on August 22, 201o. His wake I had attended on August 29, 2010 at Saint Paul’s RC Church in Glastonbury, which was also the site of his funeral the next day, August 30, 2010. THANK-YOU for your service and heroic sacrifice for the USA Sergeant DeLuzio, RIP.

Memorial Day In Music: 8th Of November

While I had attended a picnic that was also a surprise birthday for a father of a friend, I got to hear this song by Big & Rich, “8th Of November”. It is based on a battle that took place in Vietnam, during the Vietnam War, on November 8th,1965. It was also called “Operation Hump.” The Vietnam War, the one in which my present brother-in-law, Royce was in, when he served in the USA Air Force. The beauty and the simply story about this song is Memorial Day in music. Also to remember those who GAVE their all in all the wars during the course of America’s history. THANK-YOU also to those men and women who have served in America’s military, past, present, and future.

With MANY THANKS to Big & Rich, Matt5581, and YouTube. Watch Video Here:
