Former Utah Governor John Huntsman, (R/UT), has made it official: Governor Huntsman is entering into the GOP running field for the White House.

“Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman is promising policies to create jobs, achieve energy independence and overhaul the tax code.”

But I do have ONE QUESTION TO ASK: But will going civil help or hurt Governor Huntsman? Conservatives may see it that it is just being way too soft with President Barak Obama. Plus now, with the surge of the TEA PARTY MOVEMENT, it will be much more harder in 2012 to be even a “moderate Republican” to run for the White House given the growing anger against President Obama, and the over-taxing, over-regulating, and taking over of certain industries, such as healthcare.

“Jon Huntsman sat down with Sean Hannity after announcing his bid for the White House Tuesday at Liberty State Park in NJ, the same place where Reagan launched his campaign in 1980. In choosing the location, Huntsman said, “This is a pretty historic place and we remember 1980, at the beginning of the fall general election campaign, the president came here. It was a time of difficulty and trouble in our nation and he basically promised people that we could restore greatness again. And, he did. So today, I totally stand in his shadow.”

When asked why he decided to run, Huntsman said, “Because I love my country. And, I can’t stomach the thought that we are passing down to the next generation a country that is less viable, less good, less competitive, less compassionate than the one we got.”
