BREAKING NEWS: Balfour Guilty In Hudson Family Murders

“CHICAGO (CBS)–William Balfour on Friday was found guilty of killing three members of singer Jennifer Hudson’s family in 2008.

The jury’s verdict was announced about 4:40 p.m. Friday. It came shortly after jurors told the court in a note Friday they were “split” on a verdict but would continue “trying” reach one. It was the third day of deliberations for the panel, which had been sequestered for deliberations in the high-profile trial.

Jennifer Hudson was present for the verdict with her fiance. Her eyes filled with tears as Balfour, her former brother-in-law, was convicted.”

Breaking News…….Marine Corps To Kick Out Sergeant For Criticizing President Obama

“The Marine Corps said Wednesday it has decided to discharge a sergeant for criticizing President Barack Obama on Facebook.

The Corps said Sgt. Gary Stein will be given an other-than-honorable discharge for violating Pentagon policy limiting speech of service members.

The San Diego area Marine has served nearly 10 years in the Marine Corps. He has said he was exercising his free-speech rights.”

Look like those in the United States of America military service are going to have to keep their opinions on President Barack Hussein Obama to themselves.

UPDATE: Quake Off Indonesia Triggers Tsunami Alert

“Jakarta, Indonesia (CNN) – A massive earthquake struck off the coast of the Indonesian island of Sumatra on Wednesday afternoon, triggering a tsunami alert for the Indian Ocean.

The quake struck about 434 kilometers (270 miles) southwest of Banda Aceh, the capital of Indonesia‘s Aceh province, and had a magnitude of 8.6, the U.S. Geological Survey said. It took place at a depth of 23 kilometers (14 miles).

A second quake, magnitude 8.2, occurred off the west coast of Sumatra about two hours later, the USGS said.

Gary Gibson from the Seismology Research Center in Melbourne, Australia, said the location of the second quake reduces the possibility of a tsunami.

There were no immediate reports of destruction or deaths Wednesday.

Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said on local television that there were no reports of casualties or damage in Aceh.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center issued a tsunami watch for the entire Indian Ocean, and the Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency said it had put up a tsunami warning as well.

Sea level readings indicate a tsunami was generated, the warning center said. “It may already have been destructive along some coasts.”

May God be with those in the affected areas. I wonder if there were animals who were warning about earthquake/tsunami dangers in the last few weeks?

“The Toulouse terrorist burst out of his flat’s bathroom ‘shooting insanely’ with a cache of weapons at police before leaping to his death from a window.

In scenes reminiscent of a Hollywood film, the 32-hour siege at the Al Qaeda terrorist’s Toulouse home ended after the vicious gunfight.

Two officers were injured, with one now in a serious condition, as they stormed his flat.

Mohammad Merah, 23, unleashed round after round from an automatic weapon after gas canisters were thrown into his apartment.

Sustained gunfire and loud explosions could be heard echoing around the neighbourhood from around 11.30am.

As the cross-fire continued, dozens of emergency workers standing outside beside ambulances and fire engines held their ears because of the noise.

Breaking News……..Andrew Breibart Dead From Natural Causes: UPDATE

This just breaking in…………….so very sad and sudden.

We have lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a dear friend, a patriot and a happy warrior.

Andrew lived boldly, so that we more timid souls would dare to live freely and fully, and fight for the fragile liberty he showed us how to love.

Andrew recently wrote a new conclusion to his book, Righteous Indignation:

I love my job. I love fighting for what I believe in. I love having fun while doing it. I love reporting stories that the Complex refuses to report. I love fighting back, I love finding allies, and—famously—I enjoy making enemies.

Three years ago, I was mostly a behind-the-scenes guy who linked to stuff on a very popular website. I always wondered what it would be like to enter the public realm to fight for what I believe in. I’ve lost friends, perhaps dozens. But I’ve gained hundreds, thousands—who knows?—of allies. At the end of the day, I can look at myself in the mirror, and I sleep very well at night.

Andrew is at rest, yet the happy warrior lives on, in each of us.”
