I Am Thankful My Father Is Not Here To See This………….VA Scandal

I say the above title not so much of sadness, but out of anger over what I have been seeing the last couple of weeks what has been going on in regards to the VA. My late father, who served in the Coast Guards during World War 2, would have had a STROKE seeing what is going on not just to this country, the United States of America, but also to the military and those who have served, the veterans. Over the course of the last decade, in general, but in a special way, under the President Barack Hussein Obama White House, the VA medical service has become a NATIONAL DISGRACE.

Starting in the Phoenix, AZ, United States of America VA Heath Care System, and then spreading over the last few weeks in a number of VA medical locations which now includes calls for the head of the Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki to step down, which even includes calls coming from the Democrats as well as from the Republicans.

“Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki announced Friday that he would oust senior leaders at the embattled Phoenix VA, ahead of a private meeting with President Obama where the two are expected to have a “serious conversation” about whether Shinseki himself can stay in the job.

The two plan to meet at 10:15 a.m. ET in the Oval Office. Obama, in an interview, said he planned to ask Shinseki whether he was “prepared and has the capacity” to fix sweeping problems in the VA’s nationwide health care system. The president has faced mounting calls from members of both parties to remove Shinseki.”

The big question I have is that, will Mr. Shinseki stay or leave?

I think he will end up staying and simply just have a number of those VA employees below him FIRED. They will become the scapegoats in all this.

But Mr. Shinseki, it is not even just in Phoenix, AZ, but in the WHOLE VA SYSTEM. The VA medical system as we know of is BROKEN. Even now he has had to come to admit just that:

“Earlier Friday morning, Shinseki publicly apologized for the failures in the VA system, while stopping short of offering his resignation. However, responding to an interim inspector general report which found “systemic” problems with clinics lying about patient wait times, Shinseki announced the firings at the Phoenix VA, where allegations of improper scheduling practices first surfaced.

Shinseki, speaking to advocates for homeless veterans, said he initially believed the problems were “limited and isolated.”

“I no longer believe that. It is systemic,” Shinseki said. “I will not defend it, because it is indefensible.”

The sad reality in all this is that not only are our veterans betrayed in the worse way possible after their heroic service to this nation, but also must serve as a warning to the reality of another growing scandal, and this is on what will affect EVERY AMERICAN down the road, called the “Affordable Care Act” or OBAMACARE. 

The VA Medical must be regarded as the “cannary in the coal mine” and a possible preview of what will happen under Obamacare down the road nationwide.

I still have living family relations who have served, one who is a few years behind me in age, a cousin of mine, who was in the USA Army, during the Persian Gulf War, he drives a truck for a living. If this scandal is brought up when I see him next, my advice would be, do not bother with the VA medical system, you deserve much, much better then that.

I also say this in extension to ALL VETERANS in the United States of America. Each of you ‘s gave of your time in service to the United States of America and this is the THANK-YOU you have been given. It is NOT RIGHT and the decision of Mr. Shinseki not to step down will simply confirm the increasing distrust coming from the veterans and those who are related to them, be they family relations, friends, or co-workers in their place of work. I know I have distrust myself BIGTIME.

Former First Dog Barney Bush Passes Away At Age 12

Former First Dog Barney Bush — a black Scottish terrier known for chasing golf balls and taking America on video tours of the White House — has passed away after a battle with lymphoma. He was 12.

 

Former President George W. Bush announced on Friday the passing of the “little fellow,” saying in a news release that “after twelve and a half years of life, his body could not fight off the illness.”

 

“Barney was by my side during our eight years in the White House,” said Bush, who also released Friday an oil painting he did of Barney. “He never discussed politics and was always a faithful friend. Laura and I will miss our pal.”

 

RIP Faithful former President George W. Bush Family Dog, Barney Bush.

November 6th, 2012, Both The United States Of America And My Older Brother Ronald Died

On Tuesday, November 6, 2012, I had in one day’s time received two very bad news messages, first, after I had gone to the local voting place to vote and having come home, received a telephone call telling me that my only and older brother, Ronald E. Volowski, aged 64, was found dead in his bed, having died in his sleep despite efforts to saved him via emergency medical first responders efforts.

Later on, at night, had gotten the news that President Barack Hussein Obama won re-election to the United States of America position of President, defeating former MA Governor Mitt Romney.

What happened on that day, was BOTH the death not only of a very dear brother, but also the death of a major super power. I could not believe both my ears and eyes when it was announced that President Obama won re-election. It looks more like a combination of not only the promise of “freebies,” with “changing demographics,” but also it is possible that there was massive “voter fraud“ as well. Frankly, it would not surprise me if it is ALL OF THE ABOVE that lead to the re-election of President Obama.

What I am seeing is a nation that is dying before my very eyes.

What I have gone through these last few months, dealing with my own health issues, an aging mother, and the death first of the man I have loved for 21 years, David Anthony Muszynski on September 10, 2012, and now my older brother Ronald Edward Volowski, on November 6, 2012, having died in his sleep, I am now dealing with two personal heart breaks.

Add to that, I am now losing the nation I love, the United States of America.

The one lesson I have learned now is that I am going to focus more on both my spirituality and Christian/Roman Catholic faith. I am NOW DONE with political parties, and will focus more on not only the above, but on current events and other articles in regards to this blog and my daily life.

The larger focus will be on my pilgrimage to my real home, which is HEAVEN.

Ronald, with LOVE, I will miss you. RIP Ronald.

United States of America, it was GOOD while it lasted. RIP United States of America.

Right now, I am keeping a “very careful eye” on the coming northeastern storm, Sandy. Having just gotten home yesterday from a very wonderful Christian/Catholic women’s retreat weekend, towards its end, was warned to prepare. Had been able to do that, despite being tired from this wonderful weekend of a new spiritual beginning which was needed after four difficult and heartbreaking months of ill-health, my mother Edna’s advancing age and ill-health as well as both the sudden illness and death of the man I love, David.

For those who read this article, PLEASE keep me in your prayers that I and my cats get through this storm. PLEASE also pray for those who are in the thick of it right now in the affected areas, be they humans or animals. For those who are in the thick of it, stay safe and get your prepping efforts DONE NOW. May God Bless and keep everyone, including this blogger and her cats SAFE. AMEN.

Now even members of both political parties up on United States of America‘s Washington D.C.‘s Capital hill had gone out of their way to weigh-in on the very heated birth control mandatory plan of President Barack Hussein Obama‘s healthcare bill.

Look for this issue to remain “hot” for a good while to come. War has been declared against the Roman Catholic Church in the United States. As having said this in a previous posting, it is” just like hitting a big bald face hornets nest”, big mistake.

Have a picture of white bald face hornets nest. This is what I compare the recent efforts by the President Obama White House and Health And Human Services going after the Roman Catholic Church in the last couple of weeks.

“Republican leaders on Capitol Hill are vowing to overturn the new birth control rule issued by the Obama Administration. CBS News Congressional correspondent Nancy Cordes reports.”

“In recent days, Americans of every faith and political persuasion have mobilized in objection to a rule put forward by the Obama Administration that constitutes an unambiguous attack on religious freedom in our country. 

“This rule would require faith-based employers — including Catholic charities, schools, universities, and hospitals — to provide services they believe are immoral. Those services include sterilization, abortion-inducing drugs and devices, and contraception. 

“In imposing this requirement, the federal government has drifted dangerously beyond its constitutional boundaries, encroaching on religious freedom in a manner that affects millions of Americans and harms some of our nation’s most vital institutions.

“If the president does not reverse the Department’s attack on religious freedom, then the Congress, acting on behalf of the American people and the Constitution we are sworn to uphold and defend, must. 

“The House will approach this matter fairly and deliberately, through regular order and the appropriate legislative channels. 

“Because it has primary jurisdiction on the issues involved, the Energy & Commerce Committee is taking the lead on the legislative process that will be necessary to enact an effective and appropriate solution. Chairman Upton convened a hearing last year and began laying the groundwork for legislative action when this flawed rule was first proposed. I welcome his efforts to consider all possible options as his committee proceeds with its work. 

“This attack by the federal government on religious freedom in our country must not stand, and will not stand.”

And this backlash will continue to grow, not just by those who are Catholic, but Christians, other faith groups, and people of good will who DO NOT WANT to see the United States Constitution tramped down even further.
