Now Mr. President Barack Hussein Obama, what is it going to be, for the United States of America, to lead as a global leader or to show that you are now “weak” as in “show restraint” ?
United States of America President Obama, giving today the graduation speech at the Army West Point Academy today explains what has been going on in regards as of late to the planned withdrawal of USA armed forces troops in the country of Afghanistan by 2016.
What it now all comes down to is that, to the new graduates from West Point and I do extend my congrats to them and to their families, that the United States of America is NOT your parent’s or even your grandparent’s United States of America.
Safe to say, to both America’s friends and enemies, that is NOW going to be viewed as WEAKNESS, no ifs, ands, or buts.
This is the United States of America in 2014, a nation that has now showed that being weak now pays off as well as being POLITICAL CORRECT.

Today I am just starting to learn more about what had happened this past weekend in Santa Barbara, CA, United States of America when another horrible crime incident took place, and this time not just with a gun, but with a knife and with a car which resulted in six young adults dead.
First of all, my condolences to the families, friends, and the University of California, Santa Barbara over this very tragic loss of life this past weekend. There is nothing as horrible as the sudden loss of young lives and of the grief of parents who end up having to bury their children.
Having said that, issue must be taken in regards to the “gun control crowd”.
I have noticed more and more that every time there is a horrible mass killings, the gun control crowd come right out of the woodwork demanding that guns be banned. Yet did not the person who was responsible for this rampage used also a knife and a car? Do we want to ban knifes and cars? Of course not! Yet when it comes to guns, even when use for common defense, there is still an outcry. Had one of the victims had a gun on him or herself, would there still be an outcry for gun control? Or would one of the parents of one of the victims who was killed been USED by these same people who push for gun control, during the worse of his grief?
Rather the proper thing to do is leave the father alone to grieve in peace and privacy, as well as to bury his son.
The sad thing is that the gun control crowd will simply USED such victims parents just like a paper towel that has been used, then thrown away once the gun control crowd realize success on their terms.
Rather, it must be realized that it is time people who commit crimes, even those as HORRIBLE as this one, be the ones who are to be made RESPONSIBLE for the crimes they commit.
Even the horror of this crime goes way beyond the issue of mental illness.
Even more so, it is time for the realizing that when mass killings such as these take place, it is the realization that there is a hidden war that still goes on to this very day, this very minute, called the war of Heaven verses Hades, or the great spiritual war. In other words, the enemy and his demons took control of the soul of this most recent mass killer name Elliot Rodger. It was PERFECT demonic possession, pure and simple.
The sad reality is that gun control laws can never prevent such horrible killings such as this one.
GIVE CREDIT where credit is due to Joe the Plumber who took issue with the gun control crowd. In translation it means that this effort to use horrible tragic events to promote one’s political agenda not only is WRONG but will in the end, to use this term, it will “backfire” against such promoters.
Thank-you Joe the Plumber for telling the truth.
What it all comes down to is that on the local, county, state, and national levels, there are enough gun crime prevention laws on the books already. Enforce those and not create any new laws that could over the course of time be declared unconstitutional by a court of law, most likely in the United States Supreme Court. Enforcing present laws is the best course to go.
During the course of this week, Americans, and for that matter, the rest of the world witnessed people who live in a very old country, Egypt, stand up and say by protesting in HUGH protest rallies; ENOUGH. Enough of the heavy-handed ruled by both Muhammad Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood. So much ENOUGH that they made their demands known via the massive street protests and the Egyptian military stepping in removing from power President Morsi.
Will things bode better for Egypt remains to be seen. It would not surprise me if this does happen over and over again in Egypt.
On this July 4, 2013, is for the United States of America a “crossroads time”, a time that this country is going to have to make decisions that will affect its future. The economy, taxes, Obamacare, a federal government out-of-control, the borders, etc., weigh the USA down. On this 237th birthday of the United States of America, Americans, and that includes myself are challenged to “take this country back”. Take it back by living in FULL the ideas of both the Declaration and the United States Constitution. Also living in FULL the positive values that made the USA a GREAT and GOOD nation.

Right now, I am keeping a “very careful eye” on the coming northeastern storm, Sandy. Having just gotten home yesterday from a very wonderful Christian/Catholic women’s retreat weekend, towards its end, was warned to prepare. Had been able to do that, despite being tired from this wonderful weekend of a new spiritual beginning which was needed after four difficult and heartbreaking months of ill-health, my mother Edna’s advancing age and ill-health as well as both the sudden illness and death of the man I love, David.
For those who read this article, PLEASE keep me in your prayers that I and my cats get through this storm. PLEASE also pray for those who are in the thick of it right now in the affected areas, be they humans or animals. For those who are in the thick of it, stay safe and get your prepping efforts DONE NOW. May God Bless and keep everyone, including this blogger and her cats SAFE.AMEN.
