BREAKING…………..CATHOLIC CHURCH HAS NEW POPE; WHITE SMOKE RISES

“We Have A Pope!”

VATICAN CITY (AP) — Cardinals elected a new pope to lead the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics on Wednesday, overcoming deep divisions to select the 266th pope in a remarkably fast conclave.

Tens of thousands of people who braved cold rain to watch the smokestack atop the Sistine Chapel jumped in joy when white smoke poured out, many shouting “Habemus Papam!” or “We have a pope!” – as the bells of St. Peter’s Basilica and churches across Rome tolled, signaling a pontiff had been chosen.”

CONGRATS to the NEW POPE and GOD BLESS HIM!

With Many Thanks To Both  Nicole Winfield And AP. Read More Above:

Dealing With Sandy, Prayers Not Only For Myself, But For Anyone In The Affected Areas

Dealing With Sandy, Prayers Not Only For Myself, But For Anyone In The Affected Areas

Right now, I am keeping a “very careful eye” on the coming northeastern storm, Sandy. Having just gotten home yesterday from a very wonderful Christian/Catholic women’s retreat weekend, towards its end, was warned to prepare. Had been able to do that, despite being tired from this wonderful weekend of a new spiritual beginning which was needed after four difficult and heartbreaking months of ill-health, my mother Edna’s advancing age and ill-health as well as both the sudden illness and death of the man I love, David.

For those who read this article, PLEASE keep me in your prayers that I and my cats get through this storm. PLEASE also pray for those who are in the thick of it right now in the affected areas, be they humans or animals. For those who are in the thick of it, stay safe and get your prepping efforts DONE NOW. May God Bless and keep everyone, including this blogger and her cats SAFE. AMEN.

Clash Between Oppression And Freedom In A New York City Subway Walkway

What Egyptian-American activist Mona Eltahawy calls non-violent protest, IMHO, I call a criminal act of vandalism. While she does have the right to protest, Ms. Eltahawy HAS NO RIGHT to do acts of violence in the name of being non-violent. It is obvious she cannot tell the very difference between what is legal, peaceful, non-violent protest and actions that are simply nothing but criminal.

“A camerawoman stands between a provocative “Pro-Israeli” ad and Egyptian-American activist Mona Eltahawy who defaces it in the name of protesting racism.”
