With the mid-July summer heat, tempers are going to be prone to flaring-up. But what took place in the USA House of Representatives between Rep. Allen West, (R/FL) and Rep. Debbie Wasserman, (D/FL) shows how low the Democrats will go to attack not only people who are of principle, but also those persons who, like Rep. West, has served the United States in the military. First, it would do Rep. Wasserman good to say “thank-you” Rep. West for you service to the United States of America in the military. Second, Rep. Wasserman could have been a whole lot better in her choice of words instead of speaking a verbal attack on a fellow USA House of Representative member.

Rep. West responds to this verbal attack from Rep. Wasserman:”I’ve been called Uncle Tom, sellout, an Oreo. It’s not about Allen West. So once again, it’s very interesting to me that we continually allow liberals to do whatever they want in attacking conservatives but all of a sudden, when a conservative stands up and says enough, then people want to sit back especially liberals want to play victim. She’s not a victim. She’s been attacking Allen West for quite some time,” Rep. Allen West (R-FL)
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) had some criticism for fellow Florida Congressman Allen West (R) and decided to let it out on the House floor. Here is what the Congresswoman said about Rep. West today:
“The gentleman from Florida who represents thousands of Medicare beneficiaries, as do I, is supportive of this plan that would increase costs for Medicare beneficiaries. Unbelievable from a member from South Florida.”
Wasserman Schultz apparently made her remarks after West left the House floor, leaving him unable to hear it. This prompted West to send an irate email in response. “You are the most vile, unprofessional, and despicable member of the US House of Representatives,” West wrote.
West also sent the following email out to House Majority and Minority Leaders:

Look, Debbie, I understand that after I departed the House floor you directed your floor speech comments directly towards me. Let me make myself perfectly clear, you want a personal fight, I am happy to oblige. You are the most vile, unprofessional ,and despicable member of the US House of Representatives. If you have something to say to me, stop being a coward and say it to my face, otherwise, shut the heck up. Focus on your own congressional district!
I am bringing your actions today to our Majority Leader and Majority Whip and from this time forward, understand that I shall defend myself forthright against your heinous characterless behavior……which dates back to the disgusting protest you ordered at my campaign hqs, October 2010 in Deerfield Beach.
You have proven repeatedly that you are not a Lady, therefore, shall not be afforded due respect from me!

What this says is that when the Democrats and the liberals show that they have lost the argument, they go into personal attack mode. Also when a conservative stands up and does what is RIGHT, then the liberal begins to act like little crybabies and play the “victim card.”
It all goes to show why I look forward to the August House/Senate summer vacation break.
UPDATE:
IMHO, Rep. Wasserman SHOULD BE THE ONE who should SAY SORRY to a man who SERVED and is A VETERAN.
